I have some expensive laptops that I don't want to damage while traveling in Asia. So I bought a Lenovo thinkpad. What a great travel companion. It's small, cheap and powerful enough to do everything I need to do as a teacher. Take thinkpads, for example.

It's a fantastic thinkpad for a very reasonable price. Google (Alphabet) is adding a lot of new features. It is lightweight and downloads websites from the Internet without lag. I have a 2G thinkpad and it's too slow. Upgrade time

Value for money. The picture is clear and the response is quick. I bought an adapter to connect to a larger HDMI screen, and I do have a problem. The picture is not viewable and cannot even be told if an icon is chrome or browser. I hope it's the adapter, not the machine.

This is the second Lenovo thinkpad I have. They're just the right size to take with you on the go. Nothing fancy - no touch screens or anything like that - just a sturdy little machine with access to the Internet and basic office tasks.

I use this thinkpad specifically to teach my fitness class, but I really like it. It's lightweight, has long battery life and is easy to install. I don't use much of the other features except the media player, but I love it!

I bought this computer for work. I needed something cheap and portable, and after using thinkpads in school, I knew I wanted one. The thinkpad is a good, inexpensive device that meets my needs. ChromeOS is a very smooth and well-rounded system, and this particular laptop is sleek, thin and visually pleasing. It does have Linux built in, but I can't comment on that because I'm not the most tech-savvy person. The great thing about thinkpads is that you really don't have to. Keep in mind that if you want a thinkpad, most of the time apps are designed for phones or tablets. As far as I know, most games don't work or are hard to play, and some apps have reduced usage because of the click-to-click vs click approach. Not a big deal for me, but it can be frustrating for people who want a regular laptop to use at will. The trackpad on this laptop is pretty good, and it's big enough considering the size of the laptop. The keys are a little thin and small, so sometimes I miss them or make a typo when typing quickly. The screen is perfectly acceptable and vibrant, and it fills most of the bezel. Overall,8 out of 10.
